A genuine, lush island with instant beach access right across from the lodge, friendly vibes with fellow guests, and the highlight was meeting Thema and Mitiana, lovely hosts from Huahine, an island that struck us with its uniqueness. No negatives.

Mitiana and Tema welcomed us with care, were available to drive us to the airport, the beach and eateries were nearby, and the house stayed quiet. The lodge’s layout encourages interaction and camaraderie among guests.

The location was good. However, the room offered no comfort; the shared bathroom lacked soap and towels. We asked for a single black tea but never received it, even though it was available in the supermarket. The young, pleasant staff didn’t seem overly concerned about tenant well‑being, and the price was too high for the service.
