I was impressed by the friendly staff who answered questions quickly and resolved any issues that came up during my stay. The rooms were clean, the decor modern, and the view of the city was beautiful. I also enjoyed the massage. This is my second visit and I’d love to keep coming, so I hope they’ll fix a few small problems I’ll mention. The biggest drawback was the food, especially breakfast. Compared to my January visit, the meals this time were much worse. On the first day the breakfast was cold: the omelet, sauce, everything was cold and set. I took the chocolate pancakes to go, but when I opened the container it was a disappointment—thick, flat, the chocolate separated. I had to throw it away. In winter they were thin and tasty. The second day’s breakfast (eggs, guacamole, toast, salmon) was also unappetizing—cold and not flavorful. The only decent item was the cheese pancakes, but I wish they’d review their food offerings so this doesn’t happen again. I also tried sweet potato with parmesan, but it tasted like grass.

One of my favorite hotels in Uzhhorod. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the reception girls are always friendly and helpful. The price is high, but if you can afford it, you’ll get your money’s worth. The breakfasts have been getting worse and smaller over time. The omelet used to come with brioche, avocado, and filled the plate a year ago. This spring it was cut in half, and the buns and avocado disappeared. In September I barely found an omelet on the plate. There was no bread at all, not even buns. But all the other breakfast items are delicious!

The location and view are great. The pool is tiny—only one person can swim comfortably. Breakfast is more about trying food than eating; the portions are too small for an adult, though a child might be fine. There’s no sound insulation between rooms—everything from neighbors is audible. The rooms don’t have irons; the hotel provides them only when a maid is available. The price doesn’t match the advertised level.
