The two hosts were cheerful, sociable and talked to each other like neighbours, but the accommodation hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly; there was still dust and hair around.

The interior looked clean and very new, with bottled soap, shampoo, body wash and hand‑soap, plus a TV and a hair‑dryer. However, check‑in was at 17:00 instead of the usual 14:00, which cost me an extra three hours of room charge; the room also lacked bottled water, tea and coffee, raising my expenses, and crossing the Long Bien Bridge added extra fuel costs.

I appreciated the friendly staff and the reasonable price, but I had some issues with the room. The noise from outside was a problem, and I also slipped on the bathroom floor, which was quite slippery.
