The view from the 10th floor was great, but the staff didn't speak any English, the shower and toilet were dirty, the duvet was a half bag and the beds were meant for people no taller than 1.60m, otherwise you’re left hanging outside, and there were holes in the wall.

It was cheap and I liked how many power outlets there were; other rooms were quiet and the facilities were simple, so it felt like a good deal for the price. The windows were closed so I couldn’t ventilate, about 90% of the staff and guests were foreigners so I felt like an odd one out, and I wasn’t sure if the buffet on the first floor was actually available—did Japanese people get to use it? I couldn’t find out.
