The lakefront location and authentic Adirondack‑style wood rooms smelled amazing. Nothing was wrong.

“Room was clean and comfortable, services lacking.”

We didn’t expect breakfast because it wasn’t mentioned in the booking. We had to request styrofoam coffee cups the night we checked in since none were provided for the next morning. The creamers in the room were likely expired and curdled when added to coffee. Coffee grounds weren’t replenished for our second night, so I had to go to the office before closing to get another bag of coffee, more creamers, and fresh towels. Normally housekeeping would replace coffee, creamers, and towels without a request.

“Comfortable stay near ADK”

A new construction motel near Loon Lake with easy access to the Adirondacks, the beds were comfortable and the rooms had everything we needed. The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned, and the value for money isn’t great, but that’s due to the location and timing.

“Peaceful little spot”

The Lodge at Loon Lake was recently updated nicely, giving us easy access to a public beach and good views of lake activity; the small fridge in the room was a real bonus. The staff, though not on site, responded quickly when we got locked out of our room because of a flaw in the electronic lock. Dining options were limited, and the best restaurant required early reservations.
