There are plenty of free parking spots and a dedicated lane that makes getting to Xiao‑Qi very convenient, but the hotel’s exterior looks a bit dated and the bed slats are somewhat hard.

The hotel sat in a great spot close to the city centre, so walking around was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The fish‑pond area and the hot spring were also enjoyable. On the downside, the table‑tennis equipment was sub‑par – I’ll probably bring my own next time – the cue balls were too small, and the absence of gym equipment was a let‑down.
