I appreciated the outside access to my room, the comfortable bed, and the hot water in the bathroom, but everything else felt worn and tired; the bathroom floor tiles and caulking were poorly repaired, the interior and exterior doors looked dirty, and the concrete outside the room entrance was a loose gravel mess. The towels in the bathroom carried an old, washed‑out stain, and the breakfast service fell short when we arrived at 0720: oatmeal packets were hardened and settled, so I threw the first one out; the milk was empty and we had to ask for more; the coffee tasted flat; the attendant was busy microwaving frozen sausages, which made us lose patience; another guest pointed out a coffee spill at the counter, to which she replied she would clean it when she had time, and her priority seemed to be restocking yogurt. She could use a roll of paper towels so she didn’t have to pump the dispenser repeatedly to produce long strips for some use. I couldn’t tell if there were any other hot items on display, and there was no sense of urgency to have food ready for guests; I think the pancake machine was working, but again no indication that anything was ready.

The convenience of the hotel was good. Staff were polite. The rug in my room was very dirty. It was cramped for all the furniture. They must have had problems with a door across the hall, because it kept beeping. It would have been nice to have a cool room to walk into. Not a big concern, but I needed to immediately turn the fan on to cool the room. A bit dark and dingy. A very old hotel that has tried to be revitalized. The choice of breakfast was very subpar
