The freedom and quiet were outstanding. Nothing else.

Only 20 metres from the most stunning beach, Imelda was superb. She can arrange absolutely anything for you, from boat tours to laundry. They also have scooters for hire at great rates. The only downside was that there is no bar fridge in the room, but there is a communal fridge in the office.

The place is just 10 m from the famous beach and the owners are more than willing to help with anything – that’s the added value here. Not all rooms have hot water, especially during the rainy shoulder season; it would be nice to have a hot shower. There are more modern facilities right on the sea with slightly higher prices, but we chose this one for the kindness and availability of the owners.
