The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the breakfast selection was good, with mine being particularly nice. The shower, although clean, was so stained that I wouldn’t risk using it, and a small bin with a lid and plastic bag in the bathroom would have been handy for feminine hygiene items.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was fine—no issues at all.

The bar had a great lively vibe, and the value for money was amazing with breakfast included; for the price you can’t fault it. It didn’t bother me at all, but if you’re a light sleeper you might have trouble; the property is full of character.

The price was reasonable, and the breakfast, room amenities, and supplies were all good. The room was basic but had everything you need for a night’s stay, and the breakfast was great and worth the visit. Off‑road parking is available at the back, and the bed and mattress were adequate. The noise from the bar below (Saturday night drinkers), traffic, and squeaky floorboards were issues, and the steep staircase and lack of soundproofing in the walls added to the disturbance.

The service quality was very poor. There was no hot water for the shower; I tried to shower and the hot water only lasted a minute before it turned cold, and the shower next to room 1 barely dripped afterward.
