It felt like a true sanctuary of calm and comfort. We loved the setting, the stunning pool, and the whole relaxing vibe. Above all, the service was outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It’s a place where we really felt at ease. The only downside was that the stay was too short! 😊 It’s hard to find any negative when everything adds to such a pleasant experience.

The rooms were great with a fantastic view of the sea and Funchal’s harbor; the rooftop pool was lovely and the adjacent rooftop bar offered tasty cocktails and a sweeping city view. The breakfast was excellent, with a good and fresh selection. The live cooking station at the breakfast buffet was a bit hard to spot, not immediately obvious and separated from the regular buffet.
The property offers a full set of facilities – restaurant, pool, kids’ playroom – all new and spotless, and it’s close to the centre of Funshar (though the uphill walk back can be a bit tough). The downside was the price; my night cost roughly ¥100,000, which felt steep.
