The beautiful spot near the Douro River left a strong impression; the rooms open straight onto a deck with river views. The town is quiet and charming, perfect for unwinding, and we loved lounging by the pool overlooking the river. Breakfast was also lovely.

The check‑in was straightforward with a key safe, rooms were spotless and towels, soap, and shower gel were provided. Plenty of parking is available outside the house, and the entrance is a bit hidden but easy to locate using Google Maps. It’s a multi‑room house, each with its own bathroom, and the common areas are shared. There’s a pool on the terrace, and the location is unbeatable with a direct view of the Douro and the valley. The breakfast is exceptionally tasty, freshly prepared, and the timing can be arranged with the owner. We were very satisfied!

Great spot right on the Douro, clean room. We only saw the breakfast staff, a key box, and a message on Booking for our arrival… a bit disappointing.
