“Lovely stay and excellent food experience”
The food was fabulous, with both dinner and breakfast excellent and the dinner especially well executed, presented beautifully, and delicious; the Wi‑Fi in the bedroom was weak because the building is old, but I only mention it because I asked.
Good rooms of a high quality and good continental breakfast. We had a room in the attic and it was quite difficult with luggage
“We felt truly spoilt!”
Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic, and the location is peaceful yet close to local amenities. The only issue was that the local bus service was unreliable on the day we tried to use it, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
“Perfect stay!”
Location, eye for detail, comfy. Nothing
“We didn’t want to leave!”
From the gorgeous architecture to the staff, every detail was flawless. The interior design celebrated the building’s historic character, and the rooms felt luxurious yet cozy. Everyone at Penally Abbey was exceptionally friendly and kind, always making us feel welcome and even taking time to chat with our baby, especially the young man at breakfast. We didn’t try the restaurant after breakfast, but the included breakfast was excellent value and delicious. The location is ideal for exploring Tenby and the surrounding area, and the sea views from the hotel are beautiful. The only minor drawback was parking: free parking existed, but it was full when we arrived; it cleared up at the lower hill, though it filled up quickly.
