A hidden gem that’s a bit hard to reach but absolutely worth the effort, with majestic scenery. The communal areas are clean and organised, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is cosy and comfortable. Just remember to bring food, as there’s nothing nearby.

The accommodation is very clean, well equipped, and has a superb relaxation room. It’s well situated because there aren’t many other lodging options in the area. However, there’s nothing around for meals or groceries, so bring what you need before arrival.

The kitchen is very large and spacious, with plenty of room for your own groceries. The youth hostel is a bit tucked away, but staff will guide you to your room. In the bathrooms you can choose between a shared bath (for women there are 2 showers separated from each other and 3 toilets) or a private bath/toilet on the hallway. The rooms are functional and clean, and the beds are excellent. The hostel’s location is a little off the main routes but set in a stunning landscape, making it ideal for mountain hiking. The parking was a bit tricky; when the place is full it isn’t large enough, even though the staff try hard to accommodate everyone.
