The central location made it easy to walk to major sights and Termini Station, the front desk staff were great and breakfast each morning was pretty good; the room we were upgraded to was large, spacious, and had a lovely view. Nothing really.

It’s very well situated, a stone’s throw from the Colosseum, Forums, Fontana… The breakfast was good. The building is old but generally well maintained.

The hotel sits in a great spot, and the breakfast is excellent with a wide selection. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the area is very noisy; a lot of ambulance cars pass in front of the hotel and the sirens are terrifyingly loud. New windows were installed in the room that filter noise fairly well, yet even with the windows open, staying in the room feels awful.

The hotel is very central, which is its best feature. The room wasn’t especially clean; we found rubbish under the bed and the coffee machine hadn’t been emptied for ages. One day we returned to find our room unlocked, and reception didn’t care about this.

We loved the location—everything we wanted to see was within walking distance—and the staff were outstanding, more helpful than we could have hoped for. Our room was just the right size, though it felt a little warm, which was understandable given the extreme heat in the country. The only other hiccup was that we Americans didn't find any washcloths in the room, which was odd but not a deal‑breaker.
