When we arrived, the host let us choose our room, so we ended up with a stunning jungle view; he was very helpful, showed us the second waterfall entrance, rode a motorbike to take us there, and told us where to catch the bus back to town.

The bed was comfortable, the fan worked well, and the kitchen was handy.

The spot is right across from the entrance to the Cascada Fin del Mundo, and the owner always checks in to see if you need anything—he even showed us his garden! Booking lists the rooms as 6 m², but that’s wrong; they’re actually between 15 and 20 m² with private showers. I recommend it 100 %. The downside is that they stop serving food after 18 h, which is early, and the nearby restaurants are limited.
