Monteuerunterkunft FineWood Pension

“Warnung, Fake!!!”

Warning, apparently fake! On the day of the planned arrival I received an email with a standard text referencing key boxes. So far so good. However, the email only had placeholders for the key box number and code, so I called the listed number. There I learned that the pension was run by the former owner of the house and no longer exists. How that phone number ended up in the email, the man doesn't know. Allegedly. Everything was very mysterious, a lot of hassle finding a replacement. FINGER OUT!!

The room was booked through a site and you only find out on site that you have no accommodation for the night, suddenly.

The house is on a quiet street, which we liked a lot. The sink was clogged; the water stood for several minutes and drained very slowly. The duvets also had noticeable stains. The strong cigarette smell in the room was especially problematic, so intense that it even transferred to our clothes. Jackets and sweaters smelled distinctly like cigarettes the next day. The situation was especially stressful for my children. On the first day they had a hard time falling asleep and struggled to breathe. We were very dissatisfied with these conditions and ask for a statement and an appropriate solution.

Good communication about arrival and key hand‑over. No answer to questions about missing bedding and towels, despite otherwise quick replies about arrival. Therefore no bedding or towels during the stay. A penetrating smoke smell.

A room with no minimum conditions, never seen anything so bad, so awful, everything awful, dirty bathroom, toilet with poop, razors scattered, dirty floor, shower in bad condition… The filth behind filth, a horrible cigarette smell, baseboards falling, filthy floor, bathroom full of water everywhere, bedbug infestation.
