Modern, clean, in a very nice and quiet area. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Cascada Cailor ski lift and about half an hour from the Mocănița (Viseul de sus).

There are a few things that could be fixed for future guests, even though I gave the hotel five stars: the floor tiles need some strips, the bathroom should have a cup and a toothbrush, a bathrobe would be nice even if you don’t use the spa, the room next to the service area isn’t well insulated and you can hear the washer/dryer – swapping the door would help if you want quiet, the hallway rule says no outside products but the minibar is missing and only two glasses are placed in the room for no clear reason, you’re not allowed to bring anything in yet the room offers nothing; also, two beds should come with two pillows even for a single occupant, the pillows were very soft, and the windows should have screens so you can open the bathroom door or window without insects; the air‑conditioning looks installed, the control panel suggests it works, but I’m not sure it actually does, especially in winter. As for the restaurant, the à‑la‑carte breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty, but the side bread didn’t belong there and ruined the experience – either serve rolls or homemade bread, or if you keep croissants, make sure they’re buttery. In my opinion these are minor details or personal preferences, but they would improve the stay; I’ve traveled a lot across Romania, so I know what I’m talking about, and I still gave the highest marks to every aspect of the review. 🙂

The location and facilities were good, but the staff were lacking and the restaurant was closed with no communication; I think the staff should be better trained.
