The Khao Sok Evergreen House is a tranquil retreat located near Khaosok National Park, just a 10-minute drive away. Traditional-style bungalows feature a fan and private parking. Surrounded by lush scenery, the resort is a 1-hour drive to Ratchaprapa Dam and 2 hours to Suratthani. Each bungalow boasts a private balcony and en suite bathroom, while the on-site restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine.

The spot is tucked right in the jungle. The people were super sweet and we ate deliciously. The price/quality ratio is amazing. Since you’re in the jungle, don’t expect luxury. The owner picked us up, helped us bring and pick up things several times, and arranged activities through him.

The lodging is completely off the grid, which is great, but the approach is tricky and you’re left to the owner and his off‑road vehicle; no taxis go there. The owner and his family are wonderful hosts and will help with anything. If you want a wilderness escape, I definitely recommend it. The arrival route is more complicated.

The location is gorgeous and the view was insane. The owners are fantastic, eager to help with anything, and lovely people. Bikes are also available to rent on site, which was great. The road in was a bit rocky but pretty chill on bikes.

The location is wonderful but very remote, yet the owner will drive you to the village if you ask nicely. Because of the location, there’s basically nothing to do nearby and the drive is very cumbersome due to the poor road.
