The location is perfect for experiencing the authentic soul of Taranto, and the building itself is historically interesting and really fascinating. The reception staff were extremely friendly both during the day, at night, and in the breakfast area. The room was comfortable, the bed was super cozy, and the cleanliness was flawless. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming; I would suggest offering tastier baked sweets and fresh bread instead of pan carrè to reach a truly top level. The room lost running water for a few hours, but the staff fixed it promptly.

Breakfast was very decent. The hotel sits in the heart of the old town, parking is tough, and we had a view of the neighbors. But for a single night, that wasn’t a problem.

The location was great, the room was very clean, and the furniture looked new. Nothing else.

The staff were very welcoming and ready to answer all our requests. The hotel’s location is convenient for exploring the old town. The street noise and the residents of nearby buildings were annoying.

“Bella struttura ma non consiglio”

They say there’s parking, but when we asked, it wasn’t available. We had to circle for 50 minutes. After arriving and pressing the bell multiple times, I had to call and was told there was still no spot and that my reservation had been rerouted to another hotel of the same chain. I was told it was strange I hadn’t received any communication, but in reality no one had informed me. The Booking reservation mentioned a 1€ city tax, but at checkout we were charged 5€. The breakfast was far from abundant. I recommend contacting the property before booking to avoid unpleasant surprises like mine.
