The location and the one‑night stay were great, but it wouldn’t work for longer stays. The dinner buffet cost 28,50 € and wasn’t worth it – we were very disappointed.

“Das Positive hat überwogen, würden wieder kommen...”

We stayed in the ship’s bungalows, which were genuinely nice and spacious enough for two adults and three kids, and breakfast was fantastic with items like salmon, tomato, mozzarella, pancakes, cake, and more, plus the location right opposite the amusement park was perfect. However, when we arrived we didn’t have enough towels or glasses until we complained at reception, ants were crawling on the dining table, and we were disappointed that dinner was only offered as a buffet, which wouldn’t have suited our children; a small restaurant or bistro with simple snacks would have been better.

“Schöne Anlage, unspektakuläres Essen, sehr nette Mitarbeiter.”

Right across from a theme park, these wooden cabins are great for short family holidays. The food – breakfast buffet and an all‑you‑can‑eat evening meal (extra charge) – was fine, but as a vegetarian I didn’t find it outstanding; there was no whole‑grain bread and the tongs for taking food were never enough for the various items (sausage vs. cheese). Overall, this is high‑level whining, and given the price I expected more. The ant problem was the real downside; if the trash were removed daily it would help a lot. Also, waste separation would be a good idea.

“Sehr heiß”

The bungalow was cute, but the container heated up so badly that stepping outside in more than 30 °C felt like a relief. The so‑called air‑conditioning did nothing because it’s far too weak for an uninsulated container. In spring and autumn it would probably be fine. Breakfast was limited; by 9:35 most items were already gone even though service was supposed to run until 10:00, though the coffee machine was cleaned at 10:05. Overall the park looks nice apart from the breakfast, but there isn’t much else to recommend.

“Licht und Schatten.”

Breakfast was good, the room was clean, coffee making in the room was available, the air‑conditioning worked, and the beds were very comfortable. Early check‑in wasn’t possible, even after an earlier e‑mail request – no reply. There was no lighting at the resort entrance, and the parking lot was barely visible at night; the walk from the parking lot to the bungalow was completely dark, requiring a flashlight or phone light. Overall the outdoor area was overgrown, plants and lawn were unmaintained. The TVs didn’t work, and there was no cooking facility.
