The location was fantastic—ideal for getting out into nature—and the host was great, making sure we were settled and available if needed, which we never had to. Everything was perfect, with no negatives.

If you’re after a nature getaway this spot is perfect; Allison and her husband were welcoming and the house had everything we required plus extras. The hot tub was a blast and the braai area suited evening kuiers. The bed slept well and the showers were hot. Our dog loved roaming the farm. We also toured the olive‑making process, which was enlightening, and the products were top quality, clearly crafted with care. The location is close to wine farms, a donkey sanctuary, and farm stalls, so I’ll definitely return. The only downside was that we couldn’t extend our stay—definitely worth staying more than one night.

We spent a night there and wished we could stay longer; the surroundings were beautiful and everything we needed was present. The place was spotless and Allison made us feel very welcome. We’ll come back for a longer stay. The Kol kol was the cherry on top.
