Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge, situated in Marloth Park Nature Reserve bordering Kruger National Park, offers thatched, air-conditioned rooms with Crocodile River views. The lodge features a landscaped pool, African-style décor, en-suite bathrooms, and game drives. Breakfasts are served on the pool deck amidst natural bushveld, while dinners feature typical Boma evenings under the stars, 25 minutes from Malelane Gate.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The food was excellent—tasty, fresh, affordable, and plentiful. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the bathtub that wouldn’t close; I couldn’t soak because the lid stayed open even after I reported it, and nothing was fixed.

From the balcony I could see the Krügerpark and spot animals right away, and the Marlotpark itself is great for a walking safari. The breakfast was delicious, and they offer breakfast packages for early departures that are also good. We received solid help for excursions. The rooms aren’t brand‑new, but the view still makes everything perfect; we wished there were mosquito nets at the windows, otherwise you can’t ventilate without animals in the room. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I’d stay there again anytime.

The lodge’s location offers guests a great view of Kruger National Park, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The packed breakfast for the game drive turned out to be excellent and a pleasant surprise. However, the table at breakfast and dinner was uncomfortable, and there was no plug next to my side of the bed.
