La Posada Hotel and Gardens

“Great hotel stay, can't say enough about how nice the inside of the hotel and the outside of the hotel is presented.”

This place is a gem, one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and honestly there’s hardly anything to dislike about it.

“Would definitely return to this one-of-a-kind historic and stunning hotel.”

The hotel is breathtaking—every corner feels like a museum with antiques, tiles, period furniture, artwork, celebrity photos, and historical pieces; the architecture, gardens, and fountains are all beautiful, and the staff are gracious and helpful. Our room was huge and tastefully appointed, featuring a large Southwest tile bathroom and a jacuzzi tub. We especially enjoyed the upstairs art gallery with Tina Mion’s masterful paintings, the library, game room, Martini Lounge, and gift shop, and there was always something new to discover. We also loved having our own patio area, though a coffee and tea station in the room would have been a nice addition.

The grounds and hotel were stunning, and the restraint was fantastic, but the parking entrance was oddly placed.

“Enjoyed watching the trains and. Our stay. Would come again”

The gardens were gorgeous and the food was solid, though the restaurant service was fine but the bar staff clearly needed extra help; diners often seemed confused because hostesses were rarely present, and they were busy assisting elsewhere.

“A lovely historic stay in Winslow”

La Posada in Winslow is a wonderful stay, a real treasure in this small town; from the lovely gardens to the historic rooms and public spaces, it’s a special place with many unique art pieces throughout.
