The location was good, right near the cable car, BART/Metro, and streetcars to Fisherman’s Wharf and Castro. The Wi‑Fi was nonexistent, and despite repeated complaints the staff were dismissive and ignored the issue. I had booked a 10‑day stay, yet they only changed my sheets once, which I found unacceptable. There is no receptionist at the hotel; you have to go to another hotel to speak to someone.

Only the bathroom cleanliness and the bed itself were satisfactory. The lobby and elevator had debris, the front desk was unmanned, and there were annoying blinking red lights on the phone in the room. A light fixture was broken, there was no overhead light, no window screen, and no air conditioning. A young, inexperienced intake person at Stratford didn’t inform me about my requested refrigerator, forcing me to call multiple times. The phone to reception was non‑functional, even though she claimed someone could be reached 24/7. Hotel Minami sent written excuses in response.

The location is perfect, the room is very spacious, and key delivery isn’t done at the hotel but at another hotel a block away. For San Francisco prices, it’s not bad.

Niets. Een werkelijk waardeloos hotel. Geen personeel aanwezig, hard bed, vieze gordijnen én de hele nacht last gehad van een piep. Geen oog dicht kunnen doen en ik kreeg maar 20% discount waar ik nog steeds geen bevestiging van gekregen heb
