The location was superb, and the staff – especially Suzzette, Gursharn, and everyone at the main door, reception, and housekeeping – were excellent. Nothing really stood out as a downside.

Everything was lovely – a boutique vibe right on Union Square that made me wish I could live there forever. The breakfast area, however, could use more staff, and the room was beautiful but had too few servers.

The room itself was nice, but I was denied entry because my key was temporarily misplaced; even with my ID, the door’s lock wouldn’t let me in. The staff called the police to arrest me, and I only found my key after they arrived. They then claimed my name wasn’t on the log and refused entry, making me wait five more minutes while they said they had misspelled my name. I finally entered the foyer and was apologized to by a co‑worker. K’k

The location is central, the room is large and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they serve coffee and pastries every morning in the lobby. The gym has an open balcony, which is nice for morning workouts.
