I stayed in a 10‑storey guesthouse where the staff were very friendly and the manager spoke English fluently. The location was great with many restaurants within walking distance, but my room felt a bit cramped and the bathroom even smaller. The wooden furniture, though pretty, also took up a lot of space. Overall, it was very affordable.

The hotel is close to the airport, the car and train stations, and offers free daytime shuttle service. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the water pressure good. I could use the free washing machine. The host was welcoming and helped with tour bookings and transport. The only downside was the breakfasts at the nearby café, which were very modest.

The location was fantastic and the style amazing. We had a great stay and the hostess was super helpful with transfers, ticket bookings, and made everything a joy. I would highly recommend it when visiting Zhangjiajie.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the cable car to the Paradise Gate (Tianmen Mountain). The hotel’s cleanliness was impeccable. Special thanks to the staff, who were very kind and helpful, especially with buying and managing tickets for the two activities we did, which made our stay much easier. The only disappointment was the breakfast: as a 4‑star hotel I expected more variety, but there was only local food and the breakfast room was rather bare and simple. Aside from that, the property was great for cleanliness, location, and service.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, and the area was full of food and convenience stores. My room was clean and matched the photos exactly. When I needed help or directions, the staff replied quickly on WeChat. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here and while exploring the surrounding area alone. The only minor issue was the lack of a dryer during two days of rain, but otherwise it was a lovely, cozy place.
