The place is close to The Strand, but maintenance was poor: the bathroom mirror frame was broken, the mirror had glue from the soap dispenser, the shower was tiny and moldy, some kitchen utensils were dirty, the TV remote didn’t work, the main light cover was cracked and hanging, the down light near the window flickered, and the curtains were stuck together with many bull‑dog clips—overall it looked terrible.

The room was clean and fresh, and the location was great. No complaints.

The location was spot‑on, right by the beach, and the staff were very friendly. The coin‑operated washing machine was a letdown because I had to hunt for coins just to do laundry.

The room was dirty and uncleaned, and the staff seemed unprofessional.
