I discovered this lovely cottage three kilometres from the St Jacques de Compostelle path, and when I booked a room, the owner Karine offered me her empty cottage at the same price. Her kindness didn’t stop there; she drove me to the path at Flamarens, a service she gives to pilgrims. The cottage was immaculate, spacious and practical. Karine lives with her husband, three affectionate dogs, two cats, chickens, geese, and a horse. Breakfast was generous. Thanks to Karine for her hospitality.

“Agréable séjour dans le Gers”

Breakfast was excellent and the location very pleasant, but the room on the second floor is only reachable by a narrow staircase, making it hard for a couple with mobility issues like my wife and me. I pointed this out to the owner, who said she had already reported it to Booking. Booking must clearly state that this property is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

“Adequate but not smart or especially comfortable.”

Breakfast was quite good, though the bread could have been fresher. The setting was pleasant with scenic countryside and a variety of friendly animals on the property. The shower room was poor, with a weak spray and no hot water one morning, and the furniture was generally shabby.
