The so‑called pousada had no sign at all and nobody showed up to greet me when I arrived, even though I’d paid ahead of time. I was forced to spend the night in a motel across the street, standing in the rain and ringing a bell that no one answered. I’m still waiting for a refund and for the booking site to sort out the mess they caused.
