Overall, it was a nice experience. The room was well designed and comfortable, and it was mostly clean. However, the toilet seat wasn’t clean at all; I had to wipe it down with disinfectant wipes before using it, which I think is usually the last step that was missed. The inside of the wardrobe and cabinet also needed dusting. I wish there was a simple electric kettle, because using the coffee machine to boil water was not ideal.

The hotel’s location was ideal for our chosen venue, but the absence of breakfast and lunch meant a small fridge in the room would have helped; the fly screens were poorly sealed, so we had many spiders, and it seemed the owner or landlord might have leaked data, as strangers used our phone number for a Whats‑App message to us.
