“Beautiful, tranquil ; a real retreat”

The apartment is right where you want to be – steps from everything and tucked into a quiet, leafy spot. The hosts were super helpful, and the grounds felt like a little oasis of calm. Breakfast was a nice perk, especially the cakes, which were genuinely tasty. I can’t think of anything that bothered me.

“Unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings”

Wyndover Mountain Retreat sits about a 20‑minute drive from Canungra’s shops and is equally close to the Binna Burra trails, so getting out for a walk was easy. The hosts were friendly, and they left us a GF banana cake, macaroons, fresh herbs, and firewood – thoughtful touches that made the place feel homey. All in all, I’d definitely recommend it.

“Best place we have ever stayed at!”

The only issue was the bed – it was a pain to climb out of, and the wooden frame scraped my legs as I got up. Everything else was fine, but that morning struggle left a sour note.

Very beautiful accommodation in a great location, with thoughtful details like firewood to keep warm. The garden was lovely, and spotting kangaroos there was something extraordinary for us French guests. It felt both comfortable and a bit magical.
