We loved everything – the ladies at the front were caring and Gastón, the chef, was a genius; the food was fantastic and he attended to every detail.

I liked it because it offered a view and was about seven blocks from Merlo’s main avenue. As a union‑run hotel, the only drawback is the lack of aesthetic upgrades; the heating was only a 10 and the cleaning was just adequate.
