The host is friendly, the room quality is good, and the proximity to the pyramids is perfect. Nothing to add.

Two rooms in Ghiseh, right next to the pyramids. The air conditioning works well, the beds are fairly comfortable and come with sheets and a duvet. Breakfast is decent. The hotel is right next to the square where camels and horses are tied up and bring tourists to the base of the pyramids every day, so the smell is strong and it is very dusty. The people are nice and there are no particular problems. Beware of souvenir sellers who will tell you that their grandfather is a glassblower and will sell you glass items and expensive perfumes; once you get scammed you’ll realize they all tell the same story. Also watch your attire; locals expect modest clothing, so it might be better to wear flowing pants instead of shorts.

Breakfast is tasty at any time, fitting our daily schedule. Three rooms are next to each other and share a large rooftop terrace overlooking the pyramids. It’s within walking distance of the pyramids and the large museum. The location is quiet. The place is a bit hidden, only reachable through narrow alleys, but Cairo taxi drivers know it.
