Everything about this place was a let‑down – the room was noisy, the Wi‑Fi kept cutting out, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping. I couldn't find a single decent aspect, so I wouldn't stay here again.
Managed a last‑minute booking and still got a room, which was a relief in a town with few accommodations. The staff were friendly, the facilities surprisingly good for a small town, and the club meals were cheap and filling. Overall, great value for the price.
It was a bit odd that guests were asked to take off their shoes right at the entrance; I wasn't expecting that rule.
“Average”
Walgett doesn't have many places to stay, which can be a plus if you like peace, but I was surprised to learn the building was basically an old nurses' quarters. The charm is limited and the vibe feels dated.
“Overall good”
The room was fine and I liked most of the amenities, but having an extra pair of slippers for bathroom trips would have been nice. It's a small detail that could make the stay more comfortable.
