“A very good breakfast and friendly reception staff are probably the only nice things I can say.”
The reception staff were very good, polite, and helpful, and the breakfast itself was really delicious, but we paid for a river‑view room and our window was directly above a kitchen extractor fan that droned loudly until 11:30 pm and then started again at about 6 am; parking was a big issue because they only have 5 spaces, so I had to park about a quarter of a mile away; finally, we booked the Sunday roast in advance, only to find we would have to have it in the bar, and when it arrived it was very, very disappointing.
