Dancewoods Hotel

Even though the resort is larger than most hotels, the upkeep costs are clearly higher and the room rates are steep—over 10,000 for a four‑person room and 7,600 for a double, yet the rooms aren’t spacious. They market it as a mountain‑view room, but there’s no view at all, and almost every extra, from dinner to sukiyaki and set meals for five, costs extra. When we saw the dinner menu, everyone looked confused, wondering how we could eat such a lonely meal. A two‑meal plan cost more than 20,000, which felt completely unreasonable. I had hoped to take my dad for a short trip, but the expense was just not justified.

There were no positives. The bathroom, slippers, meals, and gym equipment were all lacking.

The resort paid attention to many details, making the itinerary feel very relaxing, though the circulation layout was a bit confusing and the TV in the room was somewhat outdated.

The view from the hotel was lovely, which was a definite plus. Unfortunately, I don't have much else to share about my stay, as I didn't get to explore many other aspects of the hotel.

I appreciated the range of amenities offered by the hotel, including a petting zoo, kids' playroom, gym, and onsen. The hotel also provided a late-night snack, and the parking garage was conveniently located underground. The rooms were well-equipped, with drink machines on each floor and high-quality hair dryers. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast options, which were limited and not very tasty.
