“HORRIBLE, left the same day! Do not make the same mistake, reviews not real or photos”

I arrived to find a shabby hostel that was filthy and full of cats, far from the photos we had seen that same day. When I told the staff about the hygiene, they were rude and insisted we should have checked for animal‑friendly accommodations, ignoring the dirty bathrooms and rooms. The room itself was a mess: dirty pillows, a broken door, exposed wiring, bolts on the walls, filthy cupboards, and a disgusting “mini fridge.” The downstairs cats were roaming freely. They refused to give us water, only offering beer and wine, and were unhelpful when I raised concerns. I had to find new lodging right away, which was very upsetting. After leaving, I sent photos to the “manager” as requested, but got no reply—clear evidence to avoid this place.

The hotel was generally enjoyable—cozy, friendly staff, and a good location. We stayed in October, and for the price it was a solid deal. The food was average, but I’m picky and still found something for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All‑Inclusive included decent wine and beer. Room cleaning was superb—very clean, something I hadn’t seen in a long time. The only real downside was the shower: no proper enclosure, so water spread across the floor and stayed there, causing the door to be worn. Showering was sometimes inconvenient. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay for the October price.

The owner and staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful, though they didn’t speak English, so we had to use a phone translator a lot. We were traveling with a one‑year‑old son, and the hotel met that need well. The owner arranged a travel crib for us and a feeding chair was also available. Before a full‑day trip, we were given sandwiches for the road, which was a nice touch. The location was a big plus—the beach is very close and clean. We judged the food as decent, especially considering the price‑quality ratio. On the downside, Wi‑Fi in the room was very weak, practically unusable. The shower had no wall or cover, so water splashed onto much of the bathroom. The toilet was right next to the shower, making it uncomfortable. The wardrobe in our room was in poor condition—the doors slid very hard. Because we had a small child, we were worried about safety, so we asked to have them removed. The fridge had a protruding outlet with visible wires; my husband was able to put it back safely, but such elements should be secured around a small child. In summary, we rated the stay positively mainly because of the very friendly owner and staff, the beach proximity, and the good price‑quality ratio, but the hotel has several technical issues that need improvement—especially Wi‑Fi and the safety and condition of room equipment.
