Nice location right in the middle of the bush, but not safe; a hyena was next to the tent, which was also a bit eaten by the animals. Staff were not proactive, the guide was unfriendly, the bed sheets were yellow, there was no running water, the food was good but the meat was hard to chew.

I had a great stay at Trails Camp, a very nice and rustic camp hidden in the bush; the tents were comfortable, the bed was good, and the food was amazing. The staff were very helpful and nice, and the guides were super. We had some bad luck with the weather—rain at night, cloudy days with hard winds—but Allyson and Daryl made the best of it by focusing more on spiders, insects, birds, etc. I would definitely want to come back.

The location is right in the middle of the African bush, very peaceful. The food is top notch, typical African cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and cater to every need: chef, butler, camp hand, guide, cleaner. Activities include twice‑daily walks in the veld with an armed guide who is extremely knowledgeable and very educational. The highlight was undoubtedly the elephants coming to drink from the camp pool during the dry season, literally metres away—hugely thrilling. No complaints.

The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, always welcoming and ready to fulfill every request. The bush walks were interesting, though not always exciting, and the guides were competent, teaching us about the details of the bush. Dinner under the stars was good, and it was nice to see elephants coming to drink at the pool. The overall atmosphere was very good. However, I feel the experience is overpriced, especially since there is no running water in the tents.

The remote location was exactly what we wanted. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us personal attention. The food was fabulous, and the bush walks were thrilling. The only downside was the softer mattress.
