The Coco‑Mat bed was a dream – it was perfect for us. The room looked very stylish. The location was really good. The staff at check‑in and check‑out were very friendly. However, there’s definitely no shaving mirror for men – the distance to the wall mirror is huge because of the very pretty natural stone basin. Two‑layer toilet paper was a horror for me and doesn’t make sense for the price point. The water tastes like chlorine (not sure if that’s normal in Paris). The place is somewhat worn – outlets and light switches are wobbly and sometimes loose. Lamps flicker and some are broken. Speakers are sometimes loose and hanging from the ceiling. Some windows won’t open.

I’ve known this hotel for several years; it remains a reliable choice. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff are very welcoming. The breakfast area feels a bit cramped when it’s busy, but it’s still pleasant.

The location was excellent, and the décor was nice. The elevator broke down, but they offered us breakfast for that inconvenience, which I thought was a fair gesture.
