Garda Diamant

The location in Desenzano is prime. The staff are pleasant, professional, and the owner is very helpful and always available. The room was insanely clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything needed during the stay. The entire property was well maintained, and the onsite breakfast was delicious. The area is still close to the tourist center yet quiet. Garda Diamant worked out wonderfully as a relaxing base for exploring the Gard area. My stay there left only positive memories.

The hotel is suitable for a one‑ or two‑night layover. Breakfast was good. The service was very courteous and attentive. The room is acceptable, but the pillows are not. It’s a bit far from the center.

A lovely B&B just a short walk from Desenzano del Garda, with a spotless room and bathroom, great air‑con, a safe and fridge in the room, solid wi‑fi, a comfy bed, and a nice breakfast. David was friendly and gave useful info about ferries and local restaurants. We found the peace and quiet perfect, and the centre was only a 10‑minute walk away.

The owner was very attentive and helpful, the place sits close to the promenade and not far from the bus/train station—though the road is hilly and buses sometimes miss the schedule. Breakfast was nice, and the rooms were spacious, clean and modern.

“Het was een fantastisch verblijf!!!!!”

Het was een heel uitgebreid, gezond en lekker ontbijt. Er werd van alles voorzien door de gastheer. Heel propere badkamer en een deugddoende grote regendouche. De kamers waren heel proper en het was gelegen in een rustige buurt maar toch dicht bij de ferry en het stadje met allerlei winkeltjes en terrasjes. Perfecte buurt voor lopers! Er was parking voor onze bestelwagen waarmee we rondreisden. Wat misschien jammer was, was de zee die heel dichtbij was maar niet zo proper om in te zwemmen
