Only the location mattered. The room was illegally small, hard to reach, and noisy in the morning.

“Séjour sur le Mont inoubliable”

The location is outstanding and the breakfast was delicious. The hostess who escorted us to the room was very friendly and helpful. The room had a small view of the bay and the mattress was comfortable. It could use a refresh, though; the cleanliness was average 😕 and there were two separate duvets on a double bed, which isn’t very practical.

“Très décevant et rapport qualité /prix exécrable”

The place sits right in the heart of Mont Saint‑Michel. I’m not sure whether it’s a hotel or a hostel – it’s actually a wing of the Auberge Saint‑Pierre, where the reception, staff and payment are handled. “La vieille auberge” is a collection of rooms scattered around, with no on‑site staff. My room (207) was nothing like the photo on the Booking page: cramped, with faded paint, no décor, a tiny shower/bathroom that’s poorly arranged, a half‑stuck glass wall, broken tiles and dirty grout.

Emplacement idéal pour profiter du Mont Saint Michel de manière privilégiée. Hors saison, les rues abandonnées par les touristes le soir et le matin nous invitent à flâner et prendre le temps pour soi. Chambre propre, lits confortables et calme absolu. La vétusté des parties communes. Un coup de rafraîchissement de la déco des chambres et salle d'eau pourrait être envisagé au vu du prix de la nuit. Le lieu magique n'explique pas tout
