“Perfeita”
The spot is great – location is spot on.
“Perfect location for an Athens airport stay. Pricey but the most convenient.”
Convenient location, but the rooms look a bit worn and could use a refresh.
Everything was perfect for a 1 night stay after a 2hr flight. Not applicable
“Find something else near by that is reasonably priced. For the money you are asked to pay, I wxpected much more. I staye”
The place is overpriced and run‑down, but it’s clean. Not much else to say.
“Rude Rooftop Hostess”
This review is not necessarily for the hotel, but rather the staff. To be specific, the hostess at the rooftop restaurant. My family and I arrived at the hotel and as we were checking in the staff member asked us if we would like to have a reservation at one of the 2 restaurants. One is casual, the other more upscale, located on the rooftop. We asked them to reserve the rooftop. When we showed up for our reservation, the hostess said she didn’t have a reservation for us. But she would be able to accommodate us, but wanted to make sure we saw the menu first. I found it odd, but we looked at the menu. Then said sure we will stay. Then she said to us, “you know there’s another restaurant in the hotel which serves pizzas and club sandwiches”. We said no thank you. Then she said “are you sure you don’t want to see the menu again?” I found this gesture to be incredibly rude and presumptuous. I believe she wanted to make sure we could afford the meal on the rooftop. My husband just looked at her and said, “we would like to eat here”. Sofitel should train their staff to have a little more cooth. We were not underdressed, we were not with young children, and we are accustomed to eating in fine restaurants. And let’s not forget this is a transit hotel. Most people are either coming directly off a flight or getting on one, and spending over $400 per room a night for convenience. Know your audience
