Sonqo Killa del Colca

The rooms were very pretty, just like in the photos. Breakfast was simple but good; a few more jams would have been nice. The rooms are very cold, and they provide an electric heater that, in my opinion, is quite dangerous and shouldn’t be left on at night. I still recommend the place because the cold is a constant in Peruvian hotels/hostels; there’s no heating, but that’s basically everywhere.

The accommodation is well located, the room is welcoming and the bedding is high quality with very warm blankets. Great value for a night. There is a small, very effective extra radiator. Our private bathroom seemed to have just been renovated. The room has no exterior window, but a glass (with curtains) faces the atrium. It’s not a problem for one night, but worth noting.

I met a friendly owner who prepared a special breakfast for us because we were leaving early, and he spoke excellent English.

“Male”

The shower water was hot, and they offered plenty of blankets so you could stay warm in bed; however, the building was quite dirty, and we had to change rooms because the sheets were soiled with something unclear. We ended up in a smaller room with a broken shower, making bathing a real challenge. They also didn't provide heating, only a small electric heater that barely warmed the space, and the breakfast was cold.

Near the main square, the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, offering good value for money. The windows face a central patio and the hallway, but the curtains are good enough to keep privacy.
