The cleanliness was good. I could hear the neighboring room’s noise clearly, which was a bit annoying.

The staff’s consideration made the stay comfortable. The kitchen had pots, pans, and dishes, which set it apart from others. When I arrived, there was no staff present, so I felt a little uneasy, but after emailing them, they replied promptly, which was reassuring.

Finding the place was easy, though I struggled with the keybox at first. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. It’s within walking distance of the Naoshima and Teshima ports and several good restaurants. The walls were thin, so I could hear other guests, but everyone was respectful, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Sleeping in a Japanese style was a unique experience; the futon was comfortable. There was no direct contact—only messages telling me what to do and what not to do. It’s quite far from the port and the station, and there is only one shower and one toilet for the whole house, though it says that if it gets too crowded, there are toilets in the park or the nearby convenience store.
