The house was spacious with a grill area and a roof terrace, the kitchen was very well equipped and even had the basic utensils for self‑service, plus a hot‑air oven. In January the outside temperature was 15 to 19 °C, so a mobile heater or an AC would have been helpful.

We love La Gomera, this was our third visit; Alojera is a great base in a lovely town with sunset views. The accommodation was okay but not great: the beds were terribly uncomfortable, waking up each morning with pain and reduced blood circulation; the other furniture was similar. The granny‑style decor might appeal to some, but not to us. Facilities barely worked: the shower leaked, the door didn’t open fully, the outside grill had no wood (the host doesn’t provide it and there’s nowhere to buy it). There wasn’t enough toilet paper or towels. The arrival communication was poor; we only found the place thanks to friendly locals—Google didn’t lead us there. Overall, we would not stay there again.

The place sits in a typical Canarian house split into two apartments, with shared spacious terraces. Our unit was well equipped and nicely arranged, and the neighbor who welcomed us was lovely! Alojera stretches from the sea up into the hills in a beautiful setting; a car is essential and you should plan shopping trips (about 20 min to reach the main road and the first supermarket about 30 min), and we’re thrilled with our stay! Nothing to complain about – everything was perfect.
