We absolutely loved our stay; the staff communication was fast and efficient, and the bunkhouse surpassed our expectations! As a family of 7, we booked the entire bunkhouse for two nights because the island was almost fully booked otherwise, and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. Everything was clean and comfy, and we could self‑cater easily—everything needed for simple family meals was available. The waterside views from the bunkhouse were a highlight! We would return and definitely recommend, especially if you’re motorised; we were road‑tripping in a minivan, so public transport here is uncertain, but that’s more of a perk than a drawback. Towels were kindly provided on request, and bed linen was included. The beds were very comfortable for a mixed age group spanning three generations. Wi‑Fi was steady and luxurious. Two toilets were available, which was a big plus for a group of our size. The only minor issue that didn’t spoil our stay was that the bedside sockets and lights in each bedroom could be a bit flaky—lights would flash or fail, and one socket wouldn’t charge my phone. The kitchen sockets worked fine, so we recharged everything there overnight. Loved our stay.

The chalet faces a quiet cove, and from the large living‑room windows you can watch the tide and enjoy the peace of the place (the trip is a bit long to get there). Nearby, within a short distance, are beautiful beaches to visit. The host was very kind in offering us a lobster to cook, although at the reception he sent a replacement that didn’t have towels. The towels are only one large per person; there are no face towels. Be sure to shop beforehand because there’s only a small supermarket nearby, and the others are over a 45‑minute drive away.
