I was thrilled to find the hotel just a short walk from the main square, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no elevator.

The staff were wonderful and made the experience unforgettable; even though there were no elevators, they kindly offered to carry our luggage to the room and kept our bags safe while we trekked the Inca Trail for four days. The main drawback was the constant street noise that kept us awake all night, and the beds felt very firm with no air conditioning, but overall it was great!

The location was perfect, right next to the Placa de Armas, and the hotel felt very secure; breakfast was surprisingly good for a 2‑star place. The downside was the loud noises coming from the hall that were quite disturbing.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was very good, especially the coffee from the machine. On the day we arrived, there was no water for a few hours, but they later compensated with some stewed wings, which I didn't enjoy.
