Excellent value for money, a large room, lovely décor, and the hosts are genuinely friendly. No major hassles at all; we’ll definitely return whenever we’re in town for work or family visits.

Everything was excellent, from the friendly and helpful welcome to the superb food and great value.

The food was good, but the alcoholic drinks were weak. I couldn’t see TV from the bed because the post blocked the view, and the shower screen was not great.

Breakfast was superb; we could have had a full English, which looked great, but we chose continental, which I prefer. Fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade sourdough bread, butter, jam, and excellent coffee were all there. The croissants were magnificent—soft, properly sized, no shortcuts. The breakfast matched what you’d expect in continental Europe, not the UK. Nothing else to mention.
