The location near the Ngoma border is convenient and the campsite facilities are good. However, the campsite is far from the main building and the swimming pool, and the dinner buffet is expensive.

The campsite is great, right next to Gondwana Lodge, with nice tents that have their own bathrooms. The lodge is usable for campers, the food and the pool are good. I especially recommend the half‑day boat trips on the Chobe! At night, elephants roam the grounds right by the tents. Not all tents have a good view; the rear ones look over the back walls of the tents in front. Our tent was unfortunately very dirty and had some traces from previous users that weren’t cleaned properly. Also, the water from the taps is sometimes very brown.

We stayed one night at the campsite before heading to Botswana. The campsite sits right next to the border crossing on the Chobe River. It was a nice, spacious spot with a large tent that had a shower, toilet, and sink. From the terrace, we could spot a lot of wildlife with binoculars, including four cheetahs! The dinner was delicious.

We booked a campsite. The location was simply amazing, with the river right outside the accommodation. In the evenings we could watch elephants on the opposite bank from the pool, and in the mornings a huge herd of buffalo. Elephants seem to like walking through the camp based on the large herds, though we didn’t see any. At night a security guard patrols the camp and the tent, which includes a seating area, sink, and bathroom, was excellent. In the evenings the camp’s little house cat would also visit.

The view of the river from the pool and lounge was stunning. The buffet dinner was excellent, especially the game meat and the aged cheeses. The sunset boat tour was appreciated.
