“Hotel overbooked but still charged for room. Uncomfortable environment outside of lobby.”

The hotel was overbooked, yet I was still charged for a stay that didn’t exist. No one was at the front desk for the 15 minutes I waited, so I had to call the number on the window to speak with a clerk who told me there were no rooms and that I wouldn’t be charged. Another group in the lobby had the same issue. A large crowd outside the lobby was drinking and smoking weed, which was fine but blocked the entrance. Someone also set up a bonfire in the parking lot, which seemed odd.

“THINK TWICE BEFORE STAYING HERE”

I walked in to find a slick, brown substance covering the floors and tables—dangerous and gross, not a result of cleaning as I was told. The floor near the fridge had a spill that nobody cleaned up, and the fridge itself was dirty. There was only one sheet on the bed, no blanket, and no cup in the bathroom. Checking in took 20 minutes with no one in front of me, and people yelling in the hall at 1 am felt like the least of the problems. I tried calling the phone many times before arrival, but it never answered. Think twice before staying here.

The location and price were good, but the place was very disorganized; I saw staff arguing, and someone walked into our room after we left, leaving the door wide open.
